Dear Bridge Players,
Our new Sawgrass Bridge Club again welcomes you!!
We had another fine session on the 17th, with our able trainer/co-director, Don Brown, starting out the session by giving his "weekly-refresher-course" on weak two bids and their responses. (Check the above short VIDEO CLIP from Don's pre-play session...and review the handout below that Don referenced in the clip.) Note that in depth coverage of the "Ogust Response" will be the topic for next week's pre-game "refresher". (And, once again, don't pay too much attention to YouTube's post-clip video-viewing solicitations -- that's the price we have to pay for their nice video-hosting service! [grin!])
Many thanks to all who participated and for everyone's ongoing patience while we await the move to our new temple location "just down the street" from the LaQuinta behind IKEA where we're currently playing. We again remind all that the social hall of the new building is 5,000 square feet and will be a fabulous bridge-playing venue that we're sure everyone will enjoy!!
